McCALLUM THEATRE’S MUSES & PATRONESS CIRCLE TO HOST “A HAT AFFAIR”

On Wednesday, January 23, 2013, McCallum Theatre’s Muses & Patroness
Circle will host a Fundraising Luncheon featuring members and their guests designing and modeling their own millinery creations!

This fundraising event begins at 11:30 a.m. at Desert Horizons Country Club in Indian Wells with a Wine Reception, followed by the luncheon at 12 noon.   Local Celebrities will be judging the hats designed and modeled by the members and their guests, with prizes being awarded for the most beautiful, funniest, most creative, and most unusual hats.

Celebrating its 25th year, the Muses & Patroness Circle of the McCallum Theatre is a fundraising organization for the not-for-profit Theatre.  The mission of this philanthropic-minded group of women, dedicated to the performing arts, is to support the Theatre’s Education Department, THE McCALLUM THEATRE INSTITUTE, and its five Core Programs. Since it was established, this hard-working support group has raised and contributed close to $5 million from memberships and major fundraising events over the years.

The cost of this afternoon of fun, food and fashion is $100 per person.  The McCallum Theatre’s “Hat Affair” is truly one “can’t miss” event to circle on the season’s social calendar.
